Dr Ajay Kumar is currently Consultant Physician & Diabetologist at Patna and is also the Director, Diabetes Care & Research Centre, Patna. After completing MD in Medicine, Dr Ajay Kumar has obtained MRCP from UK and is also Graduate Diploma in Diabetes Care from Australia.


Dr Ajay Kumar is a recipient of several academic awards and scholarships. He currently holds several academic positions just to list a few - he is the Guest Editor of Journal of Indian Medical Association: Special issue on diabetes, Conjoint Faculty: The University of Newcastle, Australia, JAPI: National Advisory Board. Dr Ajay Kumar has delivered lectures on various topics in Medicine at almost every annual conference of API, CSI, RSSDI, IACM, and Diabetes updates. He has almost forty publications in national and international journals, Medicine Update and Postgraduate Medicine.
