Is most of your body's fat stored above or below the waist?
The most dangerous place to store fat, is around the waist and on the upper body. It is also, the easiest place from which to lose fat.
There is evidence, that a waist measurement greater than 90 centimetres for a woman, or 100 centimetres for a man, is a risk factor for health problems.
Your belly button is the centre of your waist. So, to measure your waist, keep the tape measure horizontally in line with your navel. |
