| You must understand something first. Before you start losing weight in earnest, sit down with your thoughts and completely understand what you have to do an why. Talk to yourself. Ask yourself if you like being overweight. No one does. Tell yourself that you are going to make it this time. Nothing and no one will come in your way. Make a promise to yourself that you will get into perfect shape even if it means giving up (for the time being of course) all your favourite foods (and yes many a time not being "full") at meals. Think about life and how it will feel when you've lost sufficient weight - think of how proud you will feel when you've got there. Think of the compliments that will come your way. People will say "How did you do it"? Tell us also. And then may have the pleasure of smiling. Think some more. Think about how happy you will make your spouse when you achieve your target. |
